Zhu Xiao Hua is unusual in having been trained as an artist in the Chinese Army. As with many other contemporary Nanjing artists, he paints Chinese scenes using Western materials. He is Vice President of the Jiangsu Artists Society, and his work was displayed in recent Famous Nanjing Artist exhibitions.
